Our Story

The ECO LINGUA KIDS project enhances the second language learning experience for preschool and primary school students by integrating environmental education. It envisions a comprehensive approach to language learning that fosters environmental awareness and sustainability within language teaching practices.

Objectives

To enhance educators’ understanding and role in integrating environmental education topics into L2 teaching.
To raise awareness and advocate for the benefits of integrating environmental education in L2 learning from an early age.
To provide educators with high-quality and innovative teaching materials and digital resources for teaching L2 at pre-primary and primary levels.
To enhance children’s L2 skills while fostering environmental and cultural understanding at pre-primary and primary levels.

RESULTS

E-BOOK: Serves as a guide for good practices and provides information on the benefits of integrating environmental education and awareness into second language learning for preschool and primary school children.

E-Library with practical activities: This includes activities that teach children second languages through the topic of the environment.

E- Platform: Online learning platform with a teacher training curriculum that equips teachers with the knowledge and necessary skills to integrate environmental education into second language acquisition for preschool and primary school children.
